"12 Greatest Carols"

The Butties give Christmas a Liverpudlian spin

December 2000: the Butties meet at a studio near Shea Stadium and record their distinctly fab versions of "Joy to the World" and "God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen".

The songs are so well received, the project continues. Sam, Paul, Mark and Robbo, along with ace engineer Rich Gaglia, meet again in December 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004, recording more songs each year.  The result: "12 Greatest Carols" - a dozen Yuletide gems with arrangements inspired by the Beatles.

Includes "Joy to the World", featured in "Christmas with the Kranks" and NBCs (or is that ABCs?) sitcom, Scrubs.

We hope you enjoy listening to this CD as much as we enjoyed burning it!
